Gameplay Rules

Goals of the Event

  1. Bring the cc together and get players to interact more with the entire clan.
  2. Level up players that were previously skeptical about trying new content.
  3. Add diversity to content that people would normally do on a day to day basis.
  4. New event styles try to tackle:
    • Encouraging teams to work on content together.

Task Pack Concept

Tile Examples

  1. Teams will be given a board of Many Tiles. Each tile has varying difficulty and length.
    • Easy tile — 1 point
    • Medium tile — 2 points
    • Hard tile — 3 points
    • Elite tile — 5 points
    • Master tile — 7 points
    • Grandmaster tile — 10 points
  2. Once a team completes a tile the surrounding tiles will be revealed.
    • Completed tasks may not be repeated for additional points.

Tile Examples

  1. Winners are decided by total points.
    • Ties are broken by which team reached the total first.

Team Examples

Additional Rulings

  • Pets do not automatically complete any boss-related tile. However, they do count as unique for the relevant content.
  • For tiles that require a large number of uniques, a pet may be worth more than one unique. In these cases, the tile will clearly state the pet’s value.
  • Raid pets count as 1 purple.
  • Skilling pets do count, provided they are obtained while actively completing content relevant to the tile.
  • Skilling pets won't count if you are already 200m xp.
  • In short: if you are actively working on a tile and obtain a pet from relevant content, it counts as at least one unique unless specified.

Examples:

  • Rocky obtained from cake stalls does not count as a blood shard.
  • Rocky obtained from Vyres does count as a blood shard.
  • Mining Golem obtained from Volcanic Mine does count as a Volcanic Mine unique.
  • Chaos Elemental Pet does count as a unique item when obtained from a boss relevant to the game board.

  10. Raids must be looted inside the loot room.
  11. All tiles must be started after unlocking them.
  12. You can wait to place a drop on tile if you are working on multiple active tiles but, refer to rule 11.
  13. Drops that apply to multiple tiles may only be submitted to one tile, and the submission is final.
  14. Colosseum drops need to be claimed in order for them to be counted.
  15. Doom drops need to be claimed in order for them to be counted.
  16. Skip tokens are NOT allowed to be used on the first starting tile.

How to apply

  1. Participants must have been in the cc since the start of the announcement of bingo.
  • September 5th is the cutoff (If you are after but close message Sueci or Herc in discord and we will let you know if we can get you in.)
  • Anyone who applies who joined the cc after the cutoff date will be allowed to be put into the backups
  • Backups will fill any missed player in skill and signup priority. Bingo mods will gauge skill levels and fill in anyone relevant by skill.
  1. Upon signup, players will fill out the bingo player signup to play and in order to gauge a player's availability and skill during the event.
  • This is for balancing purposes and will be listed in the draft so captains know your availability before going into the event.
  • Any egregious deviations MIGHT result in a kick/ban from current/future events.
  • If your availability changes let admins know asap.

Event Schedule

  1. Send out a sign-up form. Board challenges will be posted in the weeks leading up to the event.
  2. Captains challenge. Will be Saturday, September 12th from 3pm-6pm Eastern. Placements during the challenge will determine the draft order. Teams will be drafted immediately following the event.
  • Non-random snake draft style.
  • The captains will be sorted based on a third party ranking where you will essentially be drafting yourself instead of another person when that round comes. (For example if you are determined to be a second round pick for your second round you pick yourself to help balance the varying skills of captains)
  • You will elect a co-captain to help you after the draft is done.
  • Competition between team captains to determine pick order (broadcasted in discord).
  • Captains will choose order in snake draft.
  • 7 large teams is the ideal size
  • To minimize teams having one bad teammate ruin their team.
  1. A settings/plugin setup guide to help track information when the event gets closer.
  2. There will be a puzzle event similar to the previous bingo to where you get rewarded with a “skip token”, you can use this to skip a tile for zero points to advance a row and come back to it later to complete it for points.
  3. You will get 6 entry tickets for first team to solve, 5 entry tickets for second team to solve and so on.

Player Behavior

  1. Questions should go to your team or captain first, then to admins if needed.
  2. Disruptive players may be removed from the event.
  3. Suspected cheating should be reported to admins.
  4. Player disputes should go through the team captain.
  5. Serious captain issues should be escalated to admins.
  6. Cheating results in punishment based on severity and intent.
